Job Description
- Set up, program, and operate CNC machines (Milling, Turning, Grinding, EDM)
- Adjust machine settings (speed, feed, cutting path) to meet specifications
- Operate conventional machines (lathe, milling, surface grinding) when required
- Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications
- Produce precision parts, tools, and components to tight tolerances
- Perform self-inspection of finished work-pieces before moving to the next process
- Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify quality
- Carry out routine machine maintenance according to checklists
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all safety and quality standards
Job Requirement
- Nitec/Higher Nitec in Precision Engineering (ITE)
- 2–3 years in precision engineering, tool & die, or CNC machining
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming and machine setup
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good math, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with quality control tools and inspection methods
- Attention to detail and precision
- Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work shifts if required
